Makeup Lesson Policy:

Consistent attendance is very important to your child’s musical development. Please keep your child’s lesson time in mind when making other appointments.

We do understand that occasional circumstances arise that cause a student to miss their scheduled lesson. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of our makeup policies:

• A 24-hour notice of cancellation is required in order to receive a makeup lesson.
• There will be one makeup lesson allowed per student per semester.
• Lessons must be made up within 6 months of the day of the missed lesson otherwise they will expire.
• Students must be currently enrolled to be able to take advantage of our makeup policy.

Private lesson students will be placed on our makeup list. Openings are created by cancellations. As openings occur, you will be emailed the day, time and teacher available. You do not need to schedule your makeup lesson with your current instructor.

These available lesson times will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Students who do not show up for the scheduled makeup will lose the opportunity to schedule again.

Our instructors are paid for the block of time for your scheduled lesson. If you cancel or do not show, they are still paid for that lesson. We try our best to fill open times in their day with students on the makeup list.

Group lesson students will be offered another group class at the same level in the same week. If this is not possible to attend or there is not another group class at your level, you will be placed on the makeup list. Group students will be offered one private lesson makeup for every two group lessons missed. Group students will begin receiving emails concerning makeup times when two lessons have been missed.

Refund Policy:

Upon official written notification of withdrawal from class, you may receive a refund of 50% of your pro-rated tuition. If you prefer, the full remaining balance may be held on a studio account for future classes at The Music Suite. Materials are non-refundable.
